30 years ago, the traditional handicrafts of the Ilala weavers of Kwazulu Natal, South Africa, were in danger of being lost forever. A number of organizations were established with a clear vision and objective in mind - to revitalize and enhance the traditions and to bring greater self-sufficiency to more than 2000 men & women from the Zulu people.

Each of the larger baskets come with a description of traditional Zulu basket weaving and is signed by the weaver. No two baskets are exactly the same! These products are selling well, so get yours today!
