Delivery & Returns

We know that ordering online can be fraught with problems, so we have put together some information about how we deliver your order & what you can do if you are not happy with your purchases.

Stock Picking

While we do our best to ensure that out-of-stock items are not available for purchase, if any of the items you have ordered are not immediately available we will contact you to ask how you would like to proceed with your order.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders where stock will no longer be available. In such circumstances we will obviously refund your purchase and inform you.

Delivery

We use Royal Mail "Signed For" for the majority of deliveries to ensure safe delivery of your purchase and make use of other carriers for heavier or unusually shaped items. Items that are posted using a courier service may take between 2-6 working days to arrive depending on which service is used.

Items for delivery to the Channel Islands, N. Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Isle of Man may take an extra day or two.

Once your order has been dispatched we will send you an email to inform you of its dispatch and will provide you with information about how you can track your delivery within the UK (where available).

For deliveries within the UK we offer free shipping (please bear this in mind when comparison shopping) and for deliveries overseas our shipping charges are based on the total weight of your order. Please Note that our free U.K. shipping offer only applies to retail customers. For concession or wholesale orders a small shipping fee may be applied.

 International customers are responsable for paying any customs duties/charges where applicable.

Please note that we cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Please ensure that you sign for your delivery. If you miss a delivery Royal Mail will attempt to redeliver once more and thereafter will retain your package for 16 days before returning it to ourselves. If your package should be returned to us we will refund the cost of your order minus the postage

Changing your order

If you wish to cancel or change your order, please contact us as soon as possible, providing your order number. If your order has not been dispatched we will issue a full or partial refund.

Returns & Refunds

We operate a no-quibble refund policy for upto 14 days from the date of your order except for goods damaged in return transit. After this period we will accept returned goods that we delivered in a faulty or damaged condition. We will also accept returns on a discretionary basis but please contact us before returning your items.

To ensure that your items are safely returned to us please follow these guidelines :-

• Be sure to complete and include the returns slip from the bottom of the packing sheet included with your order. If you do not have this to hand please include your order number, the reason for returning each item and whether you would like it to be refunded or replaced.
• Pack your items carefully, re-using or including our orginal packaging.
• Post your parcel to us using adequate insurance and recorded delivery

Once we receive your returned items we will issue a full or partial refund or dispatch a replacement for faulty or damaged items. Please note we will only refund postage for faulty or damaged items.

Packaging

As part of Mafundi Crafts commitment to the environment (and to implement savings which are passed on to our customers) we whenever possible reuse and recycle cardboard, bubble wrap and other packing, as long as the safety and protection of the product is not compromised in any way.

Cheque Payments

We are more than happy to oblige our customers who wish to pay by cheque, but please note that when a cheque is not honoured by your bank then an admin fee of £8.50 will be added to your account. We realise that when this happens it is unintentional, our bank however will charge us when a clients cheque does not clear. The £8.50 fee is to cover the amount that we are charged as a result of a failed cheque payment.
